He hōnore he kōroria ki te Atua Maungārongo ki te whenua Whakaaro pai ki ngā tāngata katoa |
We honour the memory of our Tupuna who fought to protect the Tenths and Occupational Reserves.
We acknowledge all those who have brought us to this point, and thank those who continue to support and promote the resolution of the WAI56 claim.
“As Kaumatua I know that it is my responsibility to ensure that we retain and remain committed to our Tikanga, Kawa and our Kaupapa. Our Tupuna, our Whānau and our Maoritanga are uniquely ours. Nowhere else in the world does it belong”.
Rore Stafford • Kaumatua
