We seek to make our Whānau Whanui complete

We want ALL descendants of the original Tupuna to benefit from the appropriate and fair resolution of our Treaty claim

The legacy of our Tupuna must be addressed

To honour the memory of our Tupuna who fought to protect Tenths Reserves land and settlements

Our grievances require resolution between the Crown and WAI56 owners

The Crown’s control of our land and misadministration behaviour, the imposition of the perpetual lease regime

We seek natural justice by putting right these substantial breaches of our human rights

To address the ongoing adverse impact of the Crown’s original breach of agreement

We seek equality

To address systemic social issues, including poverty, alienation and discrimination

We seek to resolve our WAI56 claim

Our claim is about the behaviour of the Crown and its assault on our Kaitiakitanga responsibilities unique to WAI56

We support the durable, fair and full settlement of all Te Tau Ihu claims

and strongly advocate for our collective Tainui Taranaki ki te Tonga - but NOT to the exclusion and extinguishment of WAI56

We wish to continue to benefit our communities

our 30 years proven sound management of our land to build success, compared to the Government’s poor management of our land
